Inception
“Watched it on a plane and lost the thread twice, but the corridor fight woke me up properly. Came away impressed rather than moved.”

Parasite
“I watch a lot of thrillers and I did not see one turn of this coming. Rewatched the next night just to see the joins.”

The Social Network
“Talky and cold and I still finished it in one sitting on a work night. Nobody in it is likeable and that seemed deliberate.”

Spirited Away
“Watched with my niece who is seven. She was frightened at the right moments and fine by the end. I cried at the train.”
