Sinners
“The first hour is a different and better film than the second. I was fully in it until the rules arrived.”

The Brutalist
“Three and a half hours with an interval and I felt every one of them. The building is more interesting than the marriage.”

Whiplash
“I have watched the last scene more times than I have watched most films. Every time my heart rate goes up and I know exactly what happens.”
