Arrival
“Slow to start and I nearly gave up around the third briefing scene. Glad I did not. The last fifteen minutes reframed the whole thing.”

Past Lives
“Almost nothing happens and I was gripped. The bar scene at the end is three people being decent to each other and it hurt.”

Inception
“Third rewatch and the rules finally clicked. I spent the last twenty minutes leaning forward with my drink going warm in my hand.”

Moonlight
“Quiet in a way that made me sit very still. The diner scene in the last third is where it caught me properly.”
