Chris and his girlfriend Rose go upstate to visit her parents for the weekend. At first, Chris reads the family's overly accommodating behavior as nervous attempts to deal with their daughter's interracial relationship, but as the weekend progresses, a series of increasingly disturbing discoveries lead him to a truth that he never could have imagined.

Every joke lands and every joke is also the horror. I noticed new details on a third viewing and got annoyed at how well built it is.
Watched it with four people who had all seen it before and they were watching me instead of the screen. Deserved. I shouted twice.
I do not usually cope with horror and I managed this one, which says something. The tea cup still makes me tense up.
